It is a known fact that whoever wins the Red River Rivalry game between the Oklahoma Sooners and Texas Longhorns, gets to trash-talk the other team for at least a whole year until they play one another again. So, the Longhorns have that right, just as the Sooners did this last year.

But, there is a rule, an unwritten one if you will: If you're going to try and troll, at least make it funny, or make it something that makes sense. If you don't, you kind of just look, well, dumb, to be honest. But for the sake of this article, we will just say silly — the Longhorns look silly.

After absolutely dominating the Sooners, and that's exactly what they did, the Longhorns decided to try their hand at trolling the Sooners, just like Sooners linebacker Danny Stutsman did last year with his T-shirt.

But, this would make more sense if the trolling was aimed at Stutsman. In fact, it would be great trolling if it was aimed at him. But, it was not. It was aimed at a player who played for the Sooners six years ago, and it was done by a Longhorns player who was not with Texas, or even in college when that OU player last played college football.

After their win, some players took a Baker Mayfield Oklahoma jersey and put it at the center of the midfield logo. Yes, that Baker Mayfield of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Then, they proceeded to stab their flag into the jersey, for some very odd reason.

As I said, he didn't play any of the players on the field, as he's been in the NFL for a good bit now. Secondly, he was 2-1 against Texas during his Oklahoma career.

It was just a weird situation. But, hey, props to Texas.
