OK State is once again showing why they are the little brother to the Oklahoma Sooners by playing copycat

The Oklahoma Sooners run the state of Oklahoma, and that's a pretty well-known fact by now. The Oklahoma State Cowboys are relevant every now and then, and sometimes are better than the Sooners, but that's very seldom.

If you ask anyone in Oklahoma, anyone that won't lie to your face, they will tell you the Oklahoma State Cowboys are the little brother to the Oklahoma Sooners. That's just the god's honest truth. They do everything the Sooners do, just to a smaller degree.

And, now, they are playing copycat.

The Sooners know how to make some money and raise their brand. The newest thing, outside of gambling, seems to be for schools to come up with and do collaborations with local companies. The Sooners did that but with Vodka and Whiskey.

A few weeks ago, the Sooners announced that the Oklahoma Athletics Department is going to partner with WanderFolk to create official craft spirits. And, they did. They came up with 'Only One Vodka,' ringing off of the phrase "there's only one Oklahoma," and they also came up with a whiskey, calling it 'Two Ponies Bourbon Whiskey.'

These are limited-edition things and have sold out. So, it's a pretty big success. Well, I guess the University of Oklahoma State saw that and jumped on the idea as well.

The OSU Athletics Department tweeted out that they are also doing their own Vodka, Pokes Vodka by Hochatown Distilling Company. It's just kind of ironic that this is a week or so after the Sooners did it.

And, hey, we can give them the benefit of the doubt and say they had it planned before the Sooners did theirs. But, it certainly doesn't look that way. This is still a rivalry, even tho the two schools won't play one another in football very often anymore. Of course, if you go to the comments, all you'll see is fans commenting on how bad of a look it is after running back Ollie Gordon was caught drinking and driving.

Like I said, this is a rivalry.

How Oklahoma Sooners head coach Brent Venables had his first red flag on Monday

When the Oklahoma Sooners needed a new head coach in late November — after Lincoln Riley surprisingly left to become the new head coach at USC — they turned to a familiar face. The Sooners hired longtime Clemson defensive coordinator Brent Venables to replace Riley. Venables spent 13 seasons on Oklahoma's staff under Bob Stoops […]
