The Oklahoma Sooners have already lost quite a few players to the transfer portal, and the season hasn't even officially ended yet. Of course, quarterback Jackson Arnold was one of the first big ones, and some others followed suit, including a few wide receivers. So, naturally, the Sooners just have to try and gear up for next year and add more talent.

They are bringing in, pretty much, a top-15 recruiting class to 2025. And, this was a team that played a lot of first and second-year players last year, so adding these guys is going to be key. But also, they are going to hit the transfer portal hard.

The Sooners are going to be bringing new players in, for sure, because new offensive coordinator Ben Arbuckle will want guys that fit his scheme better.

And, they may be doing that already, especially in the wide receiver room.

According to Steve Wiltfong of On3, former Indiana wide receiver, Donaven McCulley has already met with two schools and is now set to meet with the Sooners.

This year he played in just four games, but last year he played in 12 games and finished with just under 650 receiving yards. Those numbers aren't easy to get at all, and he would in fact be the highest yardage receiver on the team this year, by a wide margin, too.

Here is where the Sooners may have issues, though: They will have to beat out Michigan for him, a team that won the National Championship last year, and just landed the best player and quarterback in the 2025 class in Bryce Underwood. They are a destination skill players want to play now, especially after seeing some of the NIL money they have to offer.

The Sooners will need to bring in as many weapons as they can that will help Arbuckle and whoever the quarterback will be.
