  • Four-star linebacker in the 2026 class, 57th-ranked player in the state of Florida

It feels like the Sooners won over Curry during his visit during the Auburn game. He had a strong impression of Oklahoma’s entire atmosphere and the facilities and praised both the coaching staff and fans in what was a wild victory for the Sooners. However, a visit to Ohio State loomed large in the minds of Oklahoma’s staff in his recruitment.

All for naught, it appears, as Curry affirmed his decision to join the Sooners and add to what is shaping up to be an outstanding defensive haul for Oklahoma. It’s no surprise that defenders are catching on to what the Sooners are doing on defense this year and want to be a part of an elite unit.

For now, the Sooners are aiming to flip more targets and add to an ever-growing 2026 class to finish the year with momentum on the recruiting front before going all-in on an outstanding 2027 class.
