Oklahoma Sooners are finally getting back to attacking one area of their recruiting that the fan base will appreciate
The Oklahoma Sooners have always recruited well when it comes to football. The Oklahoma Sooners have always recruited well when it comes to football. Even after a down year like 2024, one of their worst years in 25 seasons, they have still managed to land a top-12 recruiting class for 2025, and that's after the guys who have flipped and committed elsewhere.

Tight end Trynae Washington, linebacker Marcus James, and cornerback Trystan Haynes are the three recruits from Carl Albert, one of the best high school football programs in the OKC area. This is something that the fan base loves, because these are usually kids who grow up wanting to play for the Sooners.
The Sooners are certainly getting back into Oklahoma high schools.
