Oklahoma Sooners' top recruit just had one of the best high school all-star games we have ever seen

The Oklahoma Sooners had a few of their initial commits leave and commit to other schools. And, that's fine — the current landscape of college football has made that a very normal thing these days. But, the Sooners have some really good players that stayed loyal. In fact, they have one of the best players in the country, despite what all of the rankings and recruiting sites say.
This year the Oklahoma Sooners struggled on the offensive line. It seemed to have gotten better as the year went on, but they were still a unit that I'd categorize as poor based on their overall play. Now, injuries did play a significant role in that, though. In the future, they won't have to worry about one specific position.
Michael Fasusi, a five-star plus high school player who stayed loyal to the Sooners over teams like Texas and Texas A&M, is the offensive tackle of the future for the Sooners. And, he played in the Under Armour Next All-American game this past week, and he showed out.
Outside of winning On3's MVP award for the game, and that also factors in all week with the 1-on-1s and everything else, he was noted to have had one of the best All-American games we have seen.
This is the best offensive lineman performance I have seen since joining On3 and being able to attend these All-American events. Outside of losing one rep of 1-on-1, Fasusi was basically flawless all week long. Extremely impressive! – On3's Cody Bellaire
Fasusi has everything the Sooners love, and he wanted to come to Norman, Oklahoma because of offensive line coach Bill Bedenbaugh. He's a player who has a ton of potential, but seeing him do the things we just saw against other players who will be Division One athletes and even Power Four athletes, just confirms every for the Sooners.
