Despite being a pretty bad team in their inaugural season in the SEC, the Oklahoma Sooners still had some pretty good players. And, most of them had already declared for the draft like Billy Bowman, Danny Stutsman, and others.

Oklahoma Sooners kicker declares for 2025 NFL Draft
Tyler Keltner, originally from Tallahassee, Florida, has significantly influenced the Oklahoma Sooners since transferring from Florida State.
His college football journey began at East Tennessee State University, where over four seasons with the Buccaneers, he not only earned two-time All-Southern Conference recognition but also set school records. His kicking stats included a 56-for-74 record on field goals, with a personal best of 54 yards, and an impeccable 131-for-131 on PATs.
Upon joining the Sooners, Keltner rapidly became an essential part of the special teams. In his inaugural season with Oklahoma, he earned the title of SEC Special Teams Player of the Week after a standout performance against Temple, where he kicked field goals from distances of 50, 42, and 24 yards, while also making all six of his PAT attempts.
His 50-yard kick was particularly significant, marking the first such achievement for an Oklahoma kicker since 2021. His contributions have been crucial in strengthening the Sooners' special teams, which had seen fluctuating performances in prior years. Keltner's poise and self-assurance have caught the attention of both fans and sports analysts, pointing toward a promising career in the SEC and possibly beyond.
On Friday, he announced that he was entering the NFL Draft after playing in college for the past five-plus years.
