But, that is not the reason why it could or will be the newest SEC rivalry. It actually has everything to do with the players on social media.

Jaxson Dart, the star quarterback at Ole Miss, was recently at the Manning Passing Academy with Oklahoma quarterback Jackson Arnold.

There, the two of them did some drills, and someone just so happened to be filming Dart throwing in one of the drills, and the throw was, well, not the best.

So, Oklahoma star defensive back Billy Bowman took to social media and captioned the video as "pick six," as if he was saying that he would pick the pass off and return it for a touchdown if that was a pass in a real game.

And, as far as we know Bowman, he could very well be right. But, Dart clapped back on social media saying "Yeah okay buddy, we gon see."

Maybe this is the start of the SEC's most entertaining, new rivalry. That would be fun if they can turn it into something. We know both of these teams are going to be good, and both have young quarterbacks who are studs.

It could be super fun to watch when they play one another in Week 9.
