Sooners transfer portal tracker: Who has transferred in and out of Oklahoma’s 2026 roster?

The Sooners have already had some players transfer out.

The Oklahoma Sooners are now finished with their 2025 season and will begin focusing on the 2026 season almost immediately. Staff and coaches get a break, but not the kind you might expect. It’s right back to work, especially for Brent Venables and his crew. Now, it’s time to start focusing on the transfer portal to see how they can improve their 2026 roster and who they’ll lose.

A few names have already been mentioned and reported as guys who plan on entering the transfer portal. However, the portal doesn’t officially open until Jan. 2 and closes on Jan. 16. Therefore, we won’t know who will be added to the Oklahoma Sooners or any other team for the 2026 season.

Oklahoma has a list of positions they really need to target in the portal whenever it opens. Of course, the linebacker position may be at the top of the list. With Kobie McKinzie entering the transfer portal, Kip Lewis possibly entering the 2026 NFL Draft, and Owen Heinecke possibly graduating as he awaits an answer from the NCAA on his eligibility, the position group is a massive question mark this offseason.

The tight end position is the other one that will have all eyes on it entering portal season. Oklahoma has two freshmen, Tyler Ruxer and Ryder Mix, both of whom are great. However, with Jaren Kanak graduating, Kaden Helms entering the portal, and likely a few other changes, the Sooners need to hit the portal themselves.

So, here’s who has already hit the portal for the Sooners, and we will add who’s joined the Sooners via the portal when those moves happen.
