The Oklahoma Sooners are as down bad as they have been in some time. I mean, we are talking about a team that could very well finish 5-7, and miss their first bowl game in 25 years. The loss to the Missouri Tigers was one of the more heartbreaking losses in some time.

And, it only got worse the closer the game got to the end. With little time left in the game, star wide receiver Deion Burks, who played his first game since the Tennessee game, caught a pass that saw him take a hit helmet to helmet.

Then he lay on the ground for a bit, as the whole stadium wondered if he was okay. Burks was then helped off the field, barely able to walk.

It was officially a bad night for Burks. And, it only got worse.

According to head coach Brent Venables on his coaches' show, Burks' parents' home was later burned down that night, putting his family in just a tragic situation.

Burks, who transferred from Purdue this offseason, just hasn't had the season he may have hoped for, and this just adds to the list. All of the fan base, the school, and everyone who knows and loves Burks is behind him and his family.
