Monday evening, the Oklahoma Sooners continued their hot recruiting streak, adding four-star tight end Tyler Ruxer to their quickly growing 2026 recruiting class. Ruxer is their 14th commitment since May 13th.
With Ruxer aboard, the Sooners sit at 15 total commits in the class, a number Oklahoma is looking to add significantly more to in the coming months.
What recruits should fans keep an eye on for Oklahoma's next potential commits?
ATH Jacob Eberhart
Ever since his visit just a few short weeks ago during ChampU BBQ, the buzz around Eberhart's interest in the Sooners has skyrocketed. The WR/DB is one of the top players from the state of Missouri, and is a top ten ATH in the entire 2026 class.
Oklahoma is evaluating him as a safety, and the big-bodied athlete has set his commitment date for July 12th. Eberhart has narrowed his college choices to Oklahoma, Missouri, Alabama, Nebraska, and Illinois, but Oklahoma feels very confident in their chances here.
ATH Davian Groce
Davian Groce's recruitment has been a quiet one, as he has kept his process fairly close to his chest. However, the final three in his process are Oklahoma, Baylor, and Houston. It's felt like the Sooners were playing catch-up to Baylor in this whole process, but several people like where the Sooners stand here.
While Groce has yet to reveal a commitment date, he is expected to commit sometime in early July in the coming weeks.
DE Jake Kreul
The Sooners' top defensive priority in the 2026 class, pass rusher Jake Kreul from IMG Academy, is a must-have for Oklahoma. The borderline five-star defender is a top ten edge rusher in the 2026 class and one of the top players from the elite Florida pipeline.
While Kreul also hasn't set a commitment date, intel dropped last week that his decision could come "sooner than many expect." The Sooners have built a strong relationship with Kreul and are confident in their chances.
