Ole Miss was the biggest winner in college football over the weekend.

Not only did Lane Kiffin and the Rebels secure commitments from two talented wide receivers in the transfer portal, but Kiffin and defensive coordinator Pete Golding were able to land a commitment from four-star safety Keon Young on Sunday.

Young was in Oxford on an official visit over the weekend. It's safe to say that visit went swimmingly for the Rebels as Young announced his commitment before leaving town.

Young is a massive get for the Ole Miss defense. He stands at six feet tall and 171 pounds and is ranked as the No. 22 safety in the country, according to 247Sports.

The 2025 prospect hails from Lakeland, Florida, where he ranks as the No. 28 player in the state, per 247Sports. Young chose Ole Miss over offers from SEC programs such as Auburn, Florida, Missouri, Oklahoma and Tennessee. He also held offers from programs such as Colorado, Illinois, North Carolina and Oregon among others.

Ole Miss now boasts the No. 22 class in the country for 2025 which is good for 11th in the SEC.
