The Ole Miss Rebels have been busy on the recruiting trails of late as Lane Kiffin and his staff are already working diligently toward a strong recruiting class in 2026.

Ole Miss cracked four-star tight end Carson Sneed's top-5 list which also includes Tennessee, Ohio State, Auburn and Louisville, according to his 'X' profile.

Sneed is from the middle-Tennessee area and attends Donelson Christian Academy just outside of Nashville. Tennessee is thought to be the early leader in clubhouse, but this wouldn't mark the first time Kiffin beats out the Vols in a recruiting battle.

At 6-foot-6 and 240 pounds, Sneed checks in as the No. 7 tight end in the Class of 2026, according to On3.

Ole Miss has had quite the stretch lately adding two wide receivers through the transfer portal while also securing a commitment from 2025 four-star safety Keon Young on Sunday.

The Rebels have yet to receive a commitment from anyone in the 2026 class, but Ole Miss fans shouldn't be too concerned. Kiffin is known to prioritize the present moment and currently has his sights set on the College Football Playoff and beyond with the 2024 season right around the corner.
