The Ole Miss Rebels have been collecting commitments over the last two weeks. Head coach Lane Kiffin is aiming to sustain a high level of play, especially on the offensive side of the ball, by adding two offensive tackles in the Class of 2025.
To kick things off on Friday, Ole Miss landed a commitment from OT Kenneth Boston out of Monroe, La. Boston ranks as a three-star prospect according to Rivals, but his ceiling is clearly what caught the eyes of the Ole Miss coaching staff.
Boston was in Oxford for a camp this past week where he reportedly dominated impressing offensive line coach John Garrison. Boston checks in at 6-foot-8 and 300 pounds, which is a frame college scouts dream of. Likely to be viewed as more of a project early on, if Ole Miss can turn Boston into a starting caliber offensive tackle then pass rushers across the SEC would have their work cut out for them.
Ole Miss also added OT Taren Hedrick on Sunday. Hedrick, a Columbia, Mo. native, ranks as the nation's No. 38 offensive tackle and is graded as a three-star by On3. Ole Miss beat out SEC teams such as Missouri, Kentucky, Florida and Tennessee among others for the 6-foot-5, 305-pounder.
With the Rebels' latest additions Ole Miss now lays claim to the No. 15 class in the nation for the 2025 cycle. Ole Miss now has a collection of 11 total commitments with five four-star recruits to pair with five three-star prospects.
