Tre Harris was already coming off back to back 900-yard seasons with at least eight touchdowns. He was clearly going to be one of the best wide receivers in the SEC again this season, but not many people saw what was coming.

After Harris' Week 4 destruction of Georgia Southern he's now on pace to break just about every wide receiver record imaginable. Harris hauled in 11 receptions for 225 receiving yards and two touchdowns on Saturday night making it look easy throughout the game.

His first explosive touchdown came early in the second quarter on a simple go route from the outside. Harris easily stacked his defender, Dart delivered a strike, and then the afterburners flipped on as he took it to the house for a 70-yard score.

Harris has always had no problem stacking over the top of defensive backs and winning in contested situations, but the way he's showed off his speed this year has really rounded out his game.

Later in Saturday's game, as Ole Miss was all but locking in their victory, Harris snagged his second touchdown catch of the night, bringing his yardage total to 225 on the game.

His deep post route to beat Georgia Southern's cover-four coverage was perfectly ran and the throw was an absolute dime from Ole Miss quarterback, Jaxson Dart. The chemistry between Harris and Dart continues to develop into one of the best in all of college football.

Harris now holds the power conference receiving yards lead through four weeks with 628 yards (and four touchdowns). That puts him on pace to absolutely crush A.J. Brown's single season Ole Miss receiving record of 1,320 yards. And if we assume Ole Miss continues finding success enough to make it to the post-season Harris is also on pace to break Devonta Smith's SEC single season receiving yards record too (1,856 yards).

The Ole Miss schedule does start to get a lot more difficult in the coming weeks, but Harris has already dominated SEC competition once before, last season. Now he'll get a chance to prove himself again starting with Kentucky next Saturday at 11am CT.
