It's been an offseason to remember for Lane Kiffin's Ole Miss Rebels. Ole Miss has garnered plenty of buzz from the national media as a team, but a handful of players have received notable preseason honors.

The latest Rebel to receive some love is freshman defensive lineman William Echoles. On Monday, Echoles was named to On3's True Freshman All-American team.

Echoles was a key member of Ole Miss' 2023 recruiting class. In fact, the four-star prospect checked in as the No. 2 player in the state of Mississippi, trailing fellow Ole Miss freshman defensive lineman Kam Franklin.

This is the second consecutive year Ole Miss has had representation on On3's True Freshman All-American squad with wide receiver Ayden Williams cracking the list last season.

Ole Miss has a supremely talented rotation of defensive linemen heading into the fall. It's part of the reason why many believe Ole Miss can take that next step and evolve into a true contender for the national title. With such a fearsome group of starters being backed up by the stars of tomorrow, the Rebels' pass rush is in a great place for years to come.
