The Oregon Ducks have been churning out some impressive offenses under head coach Dan Lanning during his tenure. Whether it was Kenny Dillingham or Will Stein, they have had tremendous quarterback play. That includes the likes of Bo Nix and Dillon Gabriel.

The program will now turn to Dante Moore this offseason, and he might be the most gifted pure passer they have had. Oregon is attempting to continue building for the future at the position, and the 2026 recruiting class is going to be interesting to watch.

Oregon made a run at five-star signal caller Jared Curtis, but he ended up recommitting to Georgia. They are also still pursuing another five-star player in Ryder Lyons, and some like their chances there. It appears that the Ducks are continuing to keep their options open, offering Murrieta (Calif.) Vista quarterback Bryson Beaver on Thursday.

When it was announced that Beaver received the offer, he was still thought be committed to Boise State. It was later announced that the California native had decommitted earlier in the week. He is on the target, and now holds an impressive offer from Oregon.

Beaver is considered a consensus three-star player by each of the major recruiting platforms. On the 247Sports Composite ranking, he currently sits as the No. 1,093 yards, No. 72 quarterback, and No. 95 player in the state of California in the 2026 recruiting class. The On3 Industry ranking has him rated higher, pegged as the No. 852 overall player and No. 55 quarterback in the class.

Oregon is the biggest offer for Beaver right now, with Utah being the only other P4 offer. Some of his other offers include Boise State, UNLV, San Jose State, Bowling Green, Coastal Carolina, Nevada, FAU, Hawaii, and Northern Arizona.

As a junior, Beaver put together a tremendous year at Vista Murrieta. The 6-2.5, 200-pound passer threw for 3,214 yards and 33 touchdowns. Beaver also rushed for another 411 yards and two more scores, averaging 7.1 yards per rush and only throwing six interceptions.

Where do things go from here? Only time will tell, but clearly the Ducks like some of what they have seen from Beaver.
