The No. 6 Oregon Ducks didn’t just win in Week 2—they made a statement. Overpowering Oklahoma State 69–3 at Autzen Stadium, the Ducks turned their second outing into one of the most dominant showings of the early season. But there’s more beneath the surface than just the final score. In this edition of “Stock Up, Stock Down,” we dig into which players and units surged and which still have room to grow after Oregon’s explosive performance against the Cowboys.

Stock Up

Dakorien Moore

The Darkorien Moore breakout finally happened. Moore, a five-star receiver who was ranked as the number one receiver out of high school, showed not just Duck fans, but the whole country, just how talented he is. Moore finished with just two receptions but showed his explosiveness, securing a 65-yard receiving touchdown. He flashed his elite ball skills, incredible speed, and ability to make defenders miss in the open field. He also had a 25-yard rushing touchdown in which he took a reverse and found the end zone. This type of playmaking is rare for a freshman and an Oregon team in desperate need of a playmaker, Moore’s breakout is massive news for Oregon’s title hopes.

Malik Benson

Another receiver, I believe, has helped himself in the first two weeks of the season. Benson transferred from Florida State to the Ducks as a senior and has quickly emerged as Dante Moore’s security blanket. Benson has excellent size and has a large catch radius. He has found the end zone once in back-to-back games and has been outstanding on third-down conversions. With Moore and Gary Bryant Jr. seemingly securing themselves as the Ducks’ top pass catchers, Benson has emerged as the team’s third option in the receiver room.

Isaiah World

One of the Ducks’ prized transfers this past offseason, Isaiah World, has been absolutely dominant early this season. Watching him this past Saturday, World was road grading in the run game, generating extreme movement and opening massive running lanes. World has been excellent in the pass game and has kept Dante Moore upright. His play early in the year has been everything the Ducks have wanted.

Stock Down

Aydin Breeland

Breeland is a player I thought could take the next step this season, but has yet to find his footing in the Ducks’ deep defensive line rotation. He only played eight snaps this past Saturday and does not look like the player the Ducks had hoped to be when they signed him. There’s still room for him to grow, but he is not there yet.
