Oregon wide receiver Justius Lowe celebrates a two point conversion as the Oregon Ducks face the Ohio State Buckeyes Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2025, in the quarterfinal of the College Football Playoff at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif.

Oregon wide receiver Justius Lowe is expected to be back in action when the Ducks face Penn State this weekend.

A welcomed addition

Head coach Dan Lanning confirmed Tuesday that Lowe is trending in the right direction after missing time due to injury.
“He’s gonna be available for this game,” Lanning said. “We’ll see as we get closer to the week.”

Lowe, a redshirt sophomore, played in 11 games last season with five starts, recording 21 catches for 203 yards. His return would provide a much-needed boost for an Oregon receiving corps that has dealt with injuries and depth concerns early in the year.

The Ducks and Nittany Lions kick off Saturday night in Beaver Stadium’s White Out game, a primetime matchup with significant Big Ten implications.
