Billy Napier and his team have been meticulously scouting talent on the high school recruiting path, closely following a blue-chip prospect with a family legacy at the university, thanks to his father.
Hanks took his first official visit with the Gators on Friday, and he told On3’s Chad Simmons this was Harris’ pitch to him:
"Their message to me was: 'You bleed orange and blue, so let's make this happen."
“Mine and Florida’s connection is going good. They communicate with me more often and I speak with the DBs coach, coach (Will) Harris,” Hanks told On3.
"Coach Harris is a great coach and comes from a great background being from the pros. I can really learn a lot of things from coach Harris. He is a great coach and stands out to me. I feel like he’s an energetic coach, but definitely seeing him in person will be more better.”
