This weekend is shaping up to be quite the important one for Texas A&M football. The Aggies are hosting a plethora of top 2026 recruiting targets, and Mike Elko has to convert this opportunity to build his roster into more of a national contender.
One of the main targets of the weekend has become a bigger priority as Georgia native Ryan Mosley just announced his top five list of schools before his visit. The high 4-star receiver has had this visit panned for quite some time, and has been on campus several times already. He has one more visit planned for June.
However, there's more of an impetus on making a big impact on Mosley as recruiting experts have become increasingly confident he'll stay at home to attend Georgia. The Bulldogs have a desperate need for a receiver, and Carrollton High has been a pipeline for Kirby Smart.
The 6-foot-3 205-pounder had been playing for Cam Newton's OT7 team, C1N, in Dallas during the spring, so he's rather comfortable with being in Texas. Elko is hoping he can make Mosley feel at home with the Aggies and delay any type of commitment until he can have him return this fall.
As a junior, Mosley totaled 55 receptions for 848 yards and 12 touchdowns. Ranked as a top-220 prospect and the 37th-best receiver in the class by 247Sports Composite, he'd bring a great skill set to the table.
We'll see how it plays out as Elko prepares for a war with Alabama and Georgia.
