Texas Longhorns quarterback Arch Manning surprised folks last month when he broke out what we all thought were some very un-Manning like dance moves after a big play.
We never saw Peyton or Eli, Arch's uncles, celebrate like that on the field. Not even close.
But after watching the ManningCast this past Monday night, I think it might be safe to say that Arch's dance moves came straight from Peyton.
During the ManningCast broadcast of the matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the New Orleans Saints, a video of Peyton practicing his walk-out with Morgan Wallen for a concert at Neyland Stadium was shown by ESPN (yes, Peyton is such a perfectionist that he practiced walking to the stage).
In the midst of the practice run, Peyton, who was in his full Tennessee Vols uniform, shied away from his typically buttoned up persona and showed off a few "dance moves".
That's not bad Peyton. I mean, it's not great — I don't think Usher or Justin Timberlake will be calling Peyton anytime soon to be a choreographer — but it wasn't absolutely terrible either. Certainly better than most could do.
Arch, on the other hand, looked a bit smoother. We'll have to give the younger Manning the advantage for now in the dance moves department.
