Brentwood Academy (Tenn.) wide receiver Kesean Bowman committed to Oregon earlier this summer. But, he is still keeping his options open.

On Thursday, Rivals’ Hayes Fawcett reported the four-star wideout is still going to hit the road to see a few other programs.

“Texas, Tennessee, and Ohio State,” Bowman said. “Those are the three big ones right now.”

This weekend, Kesean Bowman will get a good look at No. 1 and No. 2

“They have really elite receivers, and that’s one place I want to be, is to be as elite as they are,” Bowman said. “Just seeing how they work up and close, seeing how they get things done.

“I’m excited to hear the fans. They always say it’s the loudest. It’s not as big, but it’s the loudest, so I’m excited for the atmosphere. I’m looking forward to just building more connections with the coaches, and then just seeing how they run their offense,” Bowman said. “What system they have in their offense, and just seeing what role I can play in that offense as well.”

Now, Bowman insists he is still happy with his verbal pledge to the Ducks. But, like most recruits, he’s going to keep his options open.

“I’ll just say my relationship with the coaching staff,” Bowman said when asked about his commitment to Oregon. “Coach Douglas, really. Just building a relationship with him, talking to him every day, and just building a connection before I get there was big.”

The in-state Tennessee Vols are also coming after Kesean Bowman hard.

“They recruit me as hard as Oregon. It’s the hometown team. They show a lot of love when I go down there. I also have a lot of good relationships with the coaches over there as well. That’s why Tennessee is pretty high up there as well.”

Bowman is also adamant about getting to the Forty Acres this fall. He will see the Longhorns this weekend, but he wants to get to DKR to see Texas in Austin.

“Yeah, I really want to go up to Texas,” Bowman said. “I’ve been trying to set up a date with Coach Jackson, but yeah, I’m definitely going to find a date to go up to Texas for sure.”

Now, with all this said, Kesean Bowman has plenty of time to iron out his logistics and weigh his options. This is also a typical thing we see this day and age in recruiting. It’s never over until national signing day. Then, it continues to go when players are on a college roster and you have to deal with tampering and the transfer portal.

Bowman is uber talented and is not going to stop hearing from coaches. The Ducks will do its best to keep him in the fold, but it’s going to be tough.
