Speaking of the Texas defense, the Longhorns unit has only allowed 21 points all season long and are starting to show real signs of being an elite group. Pete Kwiatkowski’s front seven is as good as it gets and the back line features three legitimate superstars in Michael Taaffe, Malik Muhammad, and Jaylon Guilbeaux. And now you’ve got to worry about Graceson Littleton making plays, too.

It’s going to take a lot for UTEP to play spoiler, but this is a game Texas needs to put away quickly. There are still two more weeks of non-conference opponents the Horns need to deal with before opening SEC play in the Swamp at Florida.
