Arch Manning might've been able to be a Day 1 star elsewhere, but he chose the Texas Longhorns, knowing he would not see the field for an extended period of time until at least 2024 or 2025. Quinn Ewers' surprising return to Texas last spring meant the phenom talent had to wait another year, but it looks like the Longhorns will benefit from the extra time Manning's had.

Manning has experienced a notable physical transformation as he readies himself to take on the starting quarterback position for the Texas Longhorns.

Recent photographs showcase impressive muscle growth in both his upper and lower body, resulting in a more defined and athletic look. Since arriving at Texas, Manning's commitment to strength training has been clear, with reports highlighting a significant increase in his muscle mass.

His new physique has garnered attention during team events, particularly at the Longhorns' pro day, where NFL scouts were impressed by the young quarterback. Although he is not yet eligible for the draft, his physical stature and familial background have sparked considerable interest from professional teams.

This transformation is particularly timely as Manning moves from being a backup to stepping into the starting role with Quinn Ewers entering the NFL.

After choosing Texas over other top programs like Alabama and LSU, Manning had limited playing time in his first two seasons, but he is now ready to lead Steve Sarkisian’s offense.

Manning's muscular development indicates he is serious about his new responsibilities. The additional strength will likely improve his passing skills and enable him to absorb hits while utilizing his mobility, a distinguishing factor compared to his well-known uncles.

For Longhorns fans, this physical change signals Manning's preparedness to meet the high expectations that have been placed on him since he was recruited as a five-star prospect.
