One of the nation's top wide receiver prospects for the 2025 recruiting cycle, four-star prospect Kelshaun Johnson, is set to announce his commitment on Tuesday, July 16.

Johnson, who has been among those in the entire state of Texas impacted by the wrath of Hurricane Beryl, took to X (formerly known as Twitter) with the news on Saturday.

"It's go time," he wrote on the post, which reveals that has decision will come down to the Texas Longhorns, Texas A&M Aggies, Arkansas Razorbacks, Texas Tech Red Raiders or the USC Trojans.

The 247Sports crystal ball projection has Johnson as a 100% lock to go to Texas A&M, though history shows that some of the surprises with recruits in the past don't always mean everything is guaranteed until the announcement is made and cemented.

The 5-foot-11, 160-pounder has been impressed with his high level of versatility, route-running skills and ability to perform well on special teams, something that whichever program lands him will look to take full advantage of.

According to 247Sports, Johnson is currently listed as the 192nd-ranked prospect in the 2025 class, the 20th-ranked wide receiver, and the 27th-ranked prospect in the state of Texas.
