Even though the transfer portal deadline to enter has passed, it hasn’t stopped talented college football players from continuing to look for new opportunities. That includes former Montana State All-American offensive lineman Conner Moore who officially entered on Tuesday. It wasn’t an overly surprising move following the program finishing up his season in the FCS Championship game on Monday, which is the reason Moore was able to enter now.

Moore has been an All-American selection on the level each of the last two seasons. At 6-5 and 310 pounds, Moore is an impressive athlete with a notable power profile as well. His athletic and physical skill set has allowed him starting experience at both left tackle and guard over the last two seasons. The versatility that Moore brings to the table is impressive,

Despite being a two-year starter, Moore is a rare transfer portal entree who still has multiple years of eligibility remaining. This is a future NFL offensive lineman, and his market promises to be very, very strong.

Moore is already busy setting up a lot of visits. Here are some early schools to know, and interests to know as the market continues to heat up.

Ohio State Buckeyes

Although the Buckeyes have already secured two commitments from transfer portal offensive linemen, there is reportedly substantial interest in Moore. In fact, there is already a visit that has been set up for the future. Moore’s versatility could potentially mix in well with former Rice standout Ethan Onianwa and Minnesota star Phillip Daniels, who could play either offensive tackle or guard if he ends up with Ohio State. Moore is also an Ohio native, which is something to note.

Oklahoma Sooners

The Oklahoma Sooners just put out one of the worst offensive lines they’ve had in recent years this fall. It has caused that room to find some answers, including already having received a commitment from former Western Carolina offensive tackle Derek Simmons. While the Sooners have some younger offensive linemen that they are excited about, adding a player like Moore could be a strong move.

Michigan Wolverines

The Wolverines will be replacing their starting left tackle and left guard this offseason, positions that Moore already has experience at. Head coach Sherrone Moore hasn’t been hesitant to tap into the transfer portal for offensive line talent over the years. Michigan is also a school that has proven it has no issue opening up the checkbook, which means they could make a substantial push for Moore if they choose to.

Cincinnati Bearcats

Moore is on a visit to Cincinnati on Wednesday, which isn’t overly shocking considering that he is from the state of Ohio. There are going to be some bigger programs fighting for Moore in this battle, but the Bearcats generated enough interest early to get him to come check out campus. They might end up being viewed as a wildcard, but don’t count them out.
