Leave it to Travis Hunter to become the first player to break an untouched 30-year record. The Colorado receiver and cornerback won both the Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week Award in Week 10 after his incredible performance against Cincinnati. Since being established in 1994, the Big 12 had yet to produce such two-way dominance.

The junior has been remarkable this season despite dealing with a shoulder injury. Now, Hunter has a crowning achievement that could prove to be the upper hand in the 2024 Heisman Trophy race against Dillon Gabriel and Ashton Jeanty.

How did Hunter earn this accolade? It took an absurd set of stat lines on both sides of the ball. The conference's leading pass-catcher and touchdown-scorer tied a season-high with nine receptions. He set a new season high with 153 yards and two touchdowns.

On defense, Hunter racked up four pass deflections and two tackles. It doesn't get much more dominant on either side of the ball than that.

With 60 receptions, 757 yards, eight touchdowns on offense, 21 tackles, two interceptions, and a conference-leading seven pass breakups on defense, Hunter has brought his stats up to match the film and expectations. I think we're splitting hairs between Hunter and Jeanty and that Gabriel's inclusion is a farce, but Hunter getting hotter now is a good sign for him.

Meanwhile, Jeanty still has absurd numbers but struggled more in Week 10 than any other game. With 159 rushing attempts, 1,376 yards, and 18 touchdowns, Jeanty isn't letting anyone down. But averaging 3.9 yards per carry against UNLV isn't enough to get the job done if Hunter keeps this pace.
