UNC’s regular-season matchup against Clemson just became even better with special guest performing show before kickoff
This will be fun.
The University of North Carolina has decided to give fans a little extra something for their upcoming matchup against Clemson.
Three-time Grammy Award-winning rapper and actor Ludacris will be performing on Oct. 4 before the game. Having sold over 24 million albums worldwide, Ludacris is known for popular songs such as “Get Back,” “Southern Hospitality,” “Number One Spot,” “Money Maker,” and “My Chick Bad,” along with being featured in movies including the Fast & Furious series.
The free concert is set to take place approximately two hours and 15 minutes before kickoff and will be in front of Wilson Library. The official time of the game at Kenan Stadium has yet to be announced.
Ludacris joins an elite group of artists who are performing at UNC as part of the Chapel Thrill Concert Series Schedule. Country singer Chase Rice kicked things off on Sept. 1 for the Tar Heels’ season opener against TCU, in which they fell 48-14. Then, it was country singer John Stone who performed before UNC’s matchup against Richmond on Sept. 13.
The headliners for the Oct. 25, Nov. 8, and Nov. 22 concerts have not yet been announced.
