Don’t blink, the 2024 college football season is already flying by. We are about to enter week 11 of action, which means the importance of each victory is going to get even greater heading down the final stretch of the regular season. Every game will be that much more vital for qualifying for the FCS players, and what seeding might look like.

When recapping the last weekend of action on the FCS level, we saw a ton of upsets from the previous Top 25 poll. With that, naturally there will be a decent amount of movement in my updated Stats Perform FCS Top 25 Poll. That includes some major fallers, substantial risers, and a couple new entrants into the poll.

Every week, we have the same conversation about the top overall slot in the poll. For me, it is acceptable to have either Montana State or North Dakota State at the top right now, and each team has a valid argument to be there. For me, I’m staying firm with the Bobcats. They’re undefeated, and continue to look like a dominant team against the opponents in front of them.

Obviously, the biggest nosedive has been from North Dakota, who just had a really ugly loss against Indiana State. They are a talented team, but have had a couple of blunders. The Fighting Hawks will need to try to figure something out, and quickly.

The bottom of the Top 25 poll was almost impossible to feel confident in. For anyone who takes major issues with it, you are free to move whatever you want around. That is a cluster of football teams that there is just little separation.

Here is my updated top 25 Poll.

  1. Montana State (9-0)
  2. North Dakota State (9-1)
  3. South Dakota State (7-2)
