The USC Trojans have one of the best young quarterbacks in the country Miller Moss. He's only 22 years old, but as a redshirt junior, he's shown that all of his waiting is paying off. He hasn't played much football in his career, so his game is young, per se, but you wouldn't know that if you watched him play, and knew nothing about the kid.

He has that it factor. You know it when you see it, and he has it. He's smart, in terms of his football IQ, that is, he can make all the throws, run an offense, and just finds a way to win football games, even when the offense starts slow like it has twice now.

And, maybe one of the most important qualities that he has, that every successful quarterback has whether it be at the college or professional level, is that he's super tough. He doesn't get rattled, and he doesn't get swayed. We've seen that on full display so far through four games.

"Seeing it on the field when you're taking real shots is a different thing," Trojans head coach Lincoln Riley said when discussing some of the hits he's taken.

Against Michigan, he was getting hit all game long. The offensive line in the last two games hasn't been great, even though we have heard Lincoln Riley praise them and predict that they will be great. But, the truth is, they are allowing their quarterback to be hit a ton, and they are all pretty hard hits, too. He may have written a check that he couldn't have cashed on that one.

The most recent one just so happened to be a touchdown to Duce Robinson, where he was absolutely nailed. The play was set up to be one that he was going to get hit regardless. With five blockers on the play and no chip blocker in the backfield, Wisconsin blitzed two extra pass rushers.

He was hit hard but delivered the pass.

"You do the math, you're going to get hit," Riley continued. "Some guys have the courage to stand in there and make that throw for their team, and he's made a lot of plays like that."

Moss has been sacked eight times and hit far more than that. Yet, he's standing in there and delivering pass after pass, for big plays, too. He's ready for the Big Ten physicality, and it's shown four games in.
