Oh, what a difference a week makes in the NFL. Wide receiver CeeDee Lamb went from being visibly – and explicitly – frustrated after the loss to the San Francisco 49ers to showing a happy postgame version of himself on Monday night.

It should come as no surprise, as Lamb saw more opportunities to deal damage during the team's resilient win. He finished with seven catches in seven targets for 117 yards against the Los Angeles Chargers, showing up in many critical moments of the game. In fact, every single one of his catches moved the chains.

He called for the football during the week and got his wish. When it was all said and done, Lamb delivered a quote worthy of a No. 1 wide receiver.

"When things go good or bad, I'm still confident in myself," Lamb told reporters. "Like I said before, I like me versus anybody, man to man."

Aside from that, Lamb channeled his inner WR1 and still lobbied for the ball despite the win. That's what you want to hear from your top receiver.

"I feel like I'm definitely an impactful player for us so getting me involved early was very important," Lamb added.

Of course, such a performance wouldn't have been possible without a locked-in Dak Prescott, something the Cowboys lacked against the 49ers. At times, when the offense wasn't operating the right way, it was Prescott who manufactured some explosive plays, including big gains on the ground.

"(Dak) did a lot of great things," Lamb said. "He improvised a lot and obviously gave us the ability to work our scramble drill, so shoutout to Dak for that."

Prescott didn't escape some trash-talking from his guy in spite of feeding him during the game, however. It's just the way it goes in the NFL.

"He thinks he's fast now because he got a nice little rushing touchdown," Lamb said with a smile.

A happy CeeDee will keep leading to happy Cowboys results. Vibes sure feel a whole lot better as the team enters the bye week 4-2. There's a lot of room for improvement, however, and the players understand it.
