The Dallas Cowboys had the Green Bay Packers right where they wanted them. Up 14 with just over a quarter to play, but they failed to seal to deal, and lost 31-28 in overtime.

This type of loss is inexcusable, however, there was one bright spot. Wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, after a shaky start, had arguably his best game as a pro as he racked up a career-high 150 yards on 11 receptions and scored two touchdowns.

Sunday marked the first time since Week 8 of last season that Lamb reached 100 yards and it's the first time a Cowboys' receiver has done so in 2022.

This wasn't the smoothest offensive performance by the Cowboys, especially when factoring in his two interceptions. However, the chemistry between Dak Prescott and Lamb has started to gain some momentum, which will be critical down the stretch.

Lamb was asked about the improvements on offense after halftime. The former first-round pick didn't hold back on his disappointment at the outcome despite his huge day.

"At the end of the day we come here to win," Lamb said. "We're not here to build a bond. I mean, yeah we are, but at the end of it all we need to win.!

The Cowboys fell short in that quest on Sunday. However, Lamb showed once again how high his ceiling is, and why he's fully capable of being at no. 1 wide receiver.
