Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb is clearly not happy with how things are going for America's Team following an embarrassing 42-10 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.

And he shouldn't be. The offense never got going on Sunday Night in a game the entire Cowboys team knew wasn't just "any game." It was the 49ers, their boogeyman in back-to-back playoff losses. And still, the Cowboys came out flat, going three and out (or worse) in each of their first four drives.

Lamb spoke to reporters postgame and delivered a response that should seriously concern fans as it's indicative of a significant problem.

It started with a simple question: What's the identity of the Cowboys offense?

That left the star wide receiver in silence for a few seconds. Lamb briefly stared at the reporter (the moment pictured in the featured image above) before looking down, shrugging, and offering a disappointing answer.

"I don't know," Lamb told reporters.

Certainly not what you want your No. 1 wide receiver to say five weeks into the regular season. Perhaps you can't blame CeeDee. After all, it was made clear the Cowboys didn't have anything to point toward and call an identity following the beatdown they received in San Francisco.

"I guess so," he said when asked if he should know the identity of the offense. "I don't know."

This is coming from the same wide receiver who said before the game that a lot of questions would be answered versus the 49ers. In the first game where the Cowboys really needed to show what Mike McCarthy's offense looked like against a top-tier opponent, the offense failed miserably.

Instead of getting answers, Lamb's own postgame interview leaves us with many more.

"We've got to be complete," Lamb said. "We can't go out there one week and look like a super team and the following week shit the bed."

Like every team in the NFL, the Cowboys get a chance to run it back next week. To make things even more interesting, they'll be facing former offensive coordinator Kellen Moore, who's having a great year statistically speaking.
