The Dallas Cowboys needed some depth on their offensive line. They brought in former third-round pick Chuma Edoga earlier this week after spending the 2022 season with the Atlanta Falcons.
Edoga brings not only experience but versatility to the Cowboys' offensive line with his time playing both tackle spots as well as taking snaps at guard (the only action he saw last season was at left guard). Now, via Todd Archer of ESPN, Edoga's contract details have emerged.
It's a one-year deal for $1.232 million with a base salary of $1.08 million and a signing bonus of $152,500. Edoga's cap hit is $940,000.
This deal mirror's that of running back Ronald Jones and joins him and edge rusher Takk McKinley as veteran salary benefit contracts the Cowboys have put together this week.
Edoga will compete for left guard duties with Tyler Smith likely to stay at left tackle.
