Ahead of Sunday Night Football, the Dallas Cowboys received great news on Sunday morning.

After missing some practice time throughout the week due to illness, starters WR Michael Gallup and CB Trevon Diggs are expected to play, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

The Cowboys didn't seem all that concerned about both players being on the injury report but getting confirmation is nice ahead of a primetime showdown against the Indianapolis Colts.

Both players should be very important today as both could find themselves in top-tier matchups. On one hand, Gallup should see plenty of snaps across from former D.P.O.Y. Stephon Gilmore. The Cowboys wide receiver usually lines up on the outside as the isolated receiver and Gilmore usually plays outside too.

Conversely, Diggs will be an interesting piece of the puzzle on Sunday Night. The Colts offense hasn't been a very efficient one and lacks playmakers on the perimeter. Michael Pittman moves around a ton and I wonder if Diggs will shadow the #1 option for Matt Ryan.

The Cowboys have been dealing with the illness bug for two-three weeks now and hope it isn't a big factor moving forward as the team gets ready to face three consecutive AFC South rivals before hosting the Philadelphia Eagles on Christmas Eve.
