The Dallas Cowboys got an unwelcome scare during their first training camp practice.

Safety Donovan Wilson, who signed a three-year extension for $21 million back in March, went down with a leg injury, and he was noticeably upset afterward.

Everyone around the Cowboys can breathe a sigh of relief for the moment as Wilson suffered a calf strain according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Wilson will have an MRI to determine the true nature of the injury. He's in a precautionary walking boot but didn't appear to be in bad spirits per Patrik Walker of DallasCowboys.com.

It doesn't seem that Wilson's injury is too serious, but only time will tell.

Israel Mukuamu, the versatile safety/cornerback who turned heads in 2022, left practice with hamstring tightness and will have an MRI.
