The Dallas Cowboys are looking to bounce back from a devastating loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars when they take on the Philadelphia Eagles on Saturday. That task was going to be difficult anyway, but certainly harder with guys out.
Linebacker Micah Parsons and cornerback Trevon Diggs, both have been suffering from an illness and were listed as questionable this week. As the hours wind down to kickoff, it appears that Parsons and Diggs have overcome it enough to suit up for the Cowboys versus Philadelphia.
It's a long shot for the Cowboys to catch the Eagles when it comes to winning the NFC East. However, with three games left in the season, the Cowboys need to hit their stride going into the playoffs, which has not been the case over their last three games, although they won two of them.
The Cowboys' defense specifically needs a spark. After a not-so-hot performance against the then 1-10-1 Houston Texans, the Cowboys' defense allowed Jaguars' quarterback Trevor Lawrence to torch them for four touchdowns to complete a 17-point comeback.
Dallas has established a standard on defense over the last two seasons, and having Parsons and Diggs on the field will assist in that mission greatly to get it back before the postseason.
