The NFL Combine just concluded over the weekend in Indianapolis. As with any year, multiple players are now realistic targets for the Dallas Cowboys when it comes to the NFL Draft.
Offensive line, secondary, and defensive line are three of the most notable positions of need for the Cowboys. The likely release of Amari Cooper opens up wide receiver being an important area that must be addressed this offseason, too.
Focusing on the secondary, there are a ton of defensive backs worth considering as the Cowboys' first-round selection. From speedy defenders to lengthy athletes, this draft class seems to have it all.
One name in particular, however, might fall within the Cowboys' reach — after that possibility being extremely slim entering the weekend.
STINGLEY SHOULD BE ON THE DALLAS COWBOYS' RADAR

LSU phenom defensive back Stingley has been on draft radars since his phenomenal freshman season. Stingley emerged as one of the elite talents in college football for the Tigers on the way to LSU winning the national championship.
Stingley being selected highly in the 2022 NFL Draft was a foregone conclusion. His polished skill set, combined with the production in the SEC, pointed him to being a top selection.
Fast forward to now, and it appears that Stingley could see his stock fall a bit.
Stingley did not go through combine drills or workouts. He also measured in a bit smaller than what some anticipated. Meanwhile, Sauce Gardner, the other top corner in the class, put on a show in Indianapolis.
These factors and more have led to the possibility of Stingley falling down draft boards. That, of course, could put him in range for the Dallas Cowboys
Despite all of the nitpicking, Stingley is a high-level player with the talent to start in the secondary from Day 1. That said, his arm length — which measured in at 30 5/8" — could be the one thing that keeps the Cowboys from selecting him if he is on the board.
It seems unlikely that Stingley actually does fall to the Cowboys' No. 24 selection. Even if he does, the arm length is certainly a valid obstacle that must be overcome.
However, if Stingley is available when Dallas makes its selection, the Cowboys would be foolish to overthink it.
