The Dallas Cowboys are on the search for upgrades on the roster. Especially at wide receiver and defensive back this offseason.
It is difficult to argue against those two areas being the two glaring needs on the roster. Dallas has to find a wideout that can complement CeeDee Lamb, while the Cowboys could use another body in the secondary alongside Trevon Diggs and Da'Ron Bland.
Fortunately, there will be ways for the Cowboys to do just that. Free agency and the draft are two routes to take. Making a splash through the trade market is another strategy Dallas can take.
And it just so happens that one of the premier players in the NFL at defensive back could be available. That is because reports suggest that the Los Angeles Rams will listen to trade offers for All-Pro cornerback Jalen Ramsey.
Opportunity for Cowboys to strike

It wasn't that long ago when the Dallas Cowboys drafted Ezekiel Elliott over Jalen Ramsey in the 2016 NFL Draft. The Cowboys went with the bellcow running back over the shutdown corner at No. 4 overall.
Regardless of your stance on that decision, the Cowboys have the opportunity to finally get Ramsey on the roster. It would take the front office making an aggressive move, but it's there for the taking ahead of free agency.
The Rams are looking to clear up cap space and receive draft capital in exchange for the All-Pro talent. Meanwhile, Ramsey wants a new deal, which is something that will be weighed by each front office and coaching staff interested in making a deal.
Ramsey is the kind of talent that gets a contender over the hump. His ability alongside Diggs and Micah Parsons would provide the Cowboys with one of the elite defensive trios in football.
It's time for the Dallas Cowboys to figure out a way to go all-in. Making a move for Jalen Ramsey would certainly qualify.
