The Dallas Cowboys are aiming to build on a strong start to the season versus the other Big Apple team: The New York Jets.
Unfortunately, the game will be played without Aaron Rodgers on the other side. But that doesn't mean it'll be an easy game. Let's dive into the preview as well as how to catch the football showdown.

Can Cowboys wide receivers get going?
The Dallas Cowboys will be down one starter at WR as Brandin Cooks isn't expected to play on Sunday. That means it'll be up to Jalen Tolbert to step up on the outside against the Jets' talented secondary to give CeeDee Lamb some room to work with out of the slot.
Against Sauce Gardner and the Jets' loaded secondary, it's the challenge the offense must overcome if the Cowboys want to cruise to a win. Otherwise, this could be a defensive slugfest, which could keep New York in the game. This begs the question…
What kind of game does Mike McCarthy want to play?
The Jets' defense is entirely legit. They don't need Aaron Rodgers at quarterback for that to be a reality. So if the Cowboys want to play a defensive game, the Jets might just complicate things in Week 2.
Does that translate into the Cowboys coming out swinging on offense to try to get ahead and let Dan Quinn's ravenous pass rush unit close things out as they did in Week 1 as they hit Daniel Jones drive after drive? We'll find out. I believe the decision will say a lot about the Cowboys' overall mindset on offense.
3 Players to watch
- DT Osa Odighizuwa: The Cowboys' three-tech defensive tackle should be able to exploit the Jets' weak offensive line. He was tied for the lead last weekend with two sacks. He remains one of the most underrated players on the roster.
- S/LB Markquese Bell: A former safety, Bell spent plenty of time in the box as a linebacker for the Cowboys in the season opener. He looked stunningly comfortable and I wouldn't be surprised if he earns a bigger role as the season goes on.
- TE Jake Ferguson: He needs a bounce-back game after dropping two passes in Week 1. As the team navigates Cooks' injury at WR, he can't have an off-day again. Prescott will need him.
