"We're past Sunday," Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy told reporters on Wednesday after discussing the red zone struggles shown in Week 3.

The team needs that to be true. There's no question that will start with getting healthier at the offensive line after the team played three backups on last weekend's loss to the Arizona Cardinals.

Entering Week 4 against the New England Patriots, the Cowboys have a complicated challenge against Bill Belichick's top-tier defense that held the Miami Dolphins to 24 points. Belichick spent five full minutes praising the Cowboys earlier in the day but a full-go offensive line will be key.

"It's going to take the week really for that," McCarthy said when asked about the status of the offensive linemen. "But Tyron (Smith), Zack (Martin), and Tyler (Biadasz) will be in the rehab group."

In the practice portion open to the media, ESPN's Todd Archer noted Tyron Smith was absent as well as CeeDee Lamb and DeMarcus Lawrence. They're bost listed as "non-injury related" absentees on the report.

The Cowboys are welcoming a new face in practice this week after signing center Billy Price to their practice squad, a former first-round draft pick. It'll be very intriguing to see how the team responds to Brock Hoffman's practice squad elevations running out. Price or Sean Harlow could very well be elevated in his place moving forward.
