The Dallas Cowboys may be bringing back two familiar faces.

According to ESPN's Todd Archer, the Cowboys are hosting offensive lineman La'el Collins and linebacker Damien Wilson for a workout on Tuesday. Both spent time with the Cowboys before and have the chance to return.

The team is in need of offensive line and linebacker depth as they aim to make a deep playoff run.

Collins was drafted by the Cowboys in 2015 and went on to start 71 games during his time there. However, he signed with the Cincinnati Bengals prior to the 2022 season but has had numerous injuries during his time there. All that led to him being released by the Bengals in September.

He has also worked out for the Bills recently, but his familiarity with the Cowboys makes him the perfect fit.

Left tackle Tyron Smith is back in the lineup, but his history of injury means the Cowboys will certainly want depth on the roster. Chuma Edoga sits behind Smith, but he has struggled this season, messing up in pass protection.

As for left guard Tyler Smith, he tore his plantar fascia, but has the chance to play in Week 18.

So this one makes a lot of sense.

Switching to Wilson, he most recently was with the Carolina Panthers, but was released in March 2023. He also began his career with Cowboys, being drafted in 2015.

And Dallas can use his help at the linebacker with only three others on the depth chart. And Markquese Bell is a former safety.

The Cowboys are in the No. 2 spot in the NFC, just behind the 49ers. And they will conclude the season against the Washington Commanders on Sunday.

With a playoff push coming, let's see if Collins and Wilson make their return to Dallas.
