Cowboys have one more thing to worry about following latest news
The Cowboys have lost a starter to the Buffalo Bills in free agency.
The Dallas Cowboys have more than their share of in-house free agents to make decisions on.
Well, one of them just made it for them.
Starting left guard, Connor McGovern has signed a three-year deal with the Buffalo Bills.
This Cowboys can't seem to stop losing players to the AFC East.
Last March during free agency, left guard Connor Williams signed a two-year deal with the Miami Dolphins.
McGovern was drafted by the Cowboys in the third round in 2019. Unfortunately, he suffered a torn pectoral muscle and missed the entire preseason.
He was placed on injured reserve, ending his rookie campaign.
Over the last three seasons, McGovern has played in 45 games for the Cowboys with 29 starts. Last season, he started all 15 games he played in, logging 88% of the offensive snaps.
McGovern had some struggles during his time in Dallas but showed improvement over the last couple of seasons. Now, the Cowboys can add finding a left guard to their list of needs in the NFL draft if they don't acquire one during free agency.
