Dallas Cowboys left tackle Tyron Smith exited practice early on Wednesday after going down with an apparent knee injury. The severity of the injury is unknown as the All-Pro tackle is expected to get an MRI later in the week.

So far, there's little info about the injury but Tyron Smith did give a positive response to one of his Cowboys teammates in the locker room. According to ESPN's Todd Archer, McGovern described his interaction as reassuring.

Later on Thursday night, Archer reported the Cowboys to believe Smith's ACL is intact.

Although it's difficult to discern what happened to an NFL player just based on the video, many have pointed out it looks like the Cowboys tackle suffered a non-contact injury while getting to the second level on a run play.
