The Dallas Cowboys added star pass rusher Micah Parsons to the injury report just hours before their Week 14 showdown against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Parsons was listed with an "illness," not his first time this season with that designation.

The update was unexpectedly brought up on Sunday and NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported that he's battling the flu. 

As Cowboys fans very well know, the defensive success of Dan Quinn's defense starts and ends with what Parsons means up front. He draws double-teams at one the two highest rates in the league (shoutout Myles Garrett) and wreaks havoc in the trenches.

The good news is if we've learned something about Micah Parsons is that he has a different kind of drive and a flu is highly unlikely to stop him in such a big spot like a playoff-type matchup against the 10-2 Eagles.
