Cowboys edge rusher Micah Parsons dominated the first day in pads in training camp.

It took just one day in pads for superstar Micah Parsons to make it clear: He's better than everyone else on the practice field in Dallas Cowboys training camp.

Versus run and pass, Parsons' performance was so impressive that one has to wonder if the coaching staff will consider shutting him off to allow the offense to get some non-wrecked reps in. Of course, that's an exaggeration but it did feel like just about every rep saw its end during practice just because Dak Prescott is wearing a red jersey and can't be taken down.

"He comes out and he doesn't quit at all, he'll give every play 100%," future Hall of Fame offensive tackle Tyron Smith told reporters about Parsons. "He's going to let you know what happened on that play if he beats you."

On Monday, Micah beat Tyron with apparent ease more than once. In a play that's already going viral on social media, he pulled off Reggie White's iconic hump move on the veteran tackle, tossing him to the side for the would-be sack. It isn't the first time Parsons pulls the move off – he tossed right tackle Mike McGlinchey to the side in the Cowboys' playoff loss to the San Francisco 49ers – but doing so against Tyron Smith is insane.

Parsons also got the best of Tyron Smith in the run game as he completely broke up an attempt from running back Malik Davis by pushing his way through Smith and Michael Gallup's chip block. The play had to be one of the highlights of camp as not even the double team was enough to force Parsons to even break a sweat.

Now granted, it's not anything personal for Parsons. Whoever lines up in front of him is getting his rage. The Cowboys' star defender also got the best of Terence Steele in practice.

But perhaps one of the most exciting things in practice was a stunt pulled off by him and DeMarcus Lawrence against Tyron and Tyler Smith. Quinn's defense hasn't shied away from that sort of pressure design as both starters will line up next to each other quite often.

Ultimately, nothing new happened in practice. If anything it was a solid reminder of what Cowboys Nation might've forgotten during the long, long months of the offseason: Parsons is really on another level.

As for the offense, we know iron sharpens iron. And there's no sharper iron in the league than that mean dude wearing No. 11.
