Cowboys' Micah Parsons says he isn't slowing down in the Pro Bowl

The Pro Bowl has earned a bad rep among NFL fans. Given the physical, violent nature of the sport, players don't really go all-in in the exhibition game. Sometimes, it resembles a two-hand touch football match more than a tackle football game. But there's one particular player of the Dallas Cowboys that isn't planning on slowing down from his usual pace.
In fact, he said he will go "hard as heck."
Micah Parsons, who's expected to be named the 2021-2022 Defensive Rookie of the Year, said he wasn't going to slow down. "I'm going to be like Sean Taylor out in that joint. They're going to be so mad," Micah Parsons told NFL Network's Cameron Wolfe.
Many could shrug this off and believe the Cowboys' LB/DE is joking around and not being serious. But if there's one lesson to take away from the Cowboys 2021 regular season, is never doubt Parsons.
Hey, at this point, I 100% believe he will come out and play as if it was a regular-season game if not a postseason one. Here are two things we've learned from Micah out of his own comments at the Pro Bowl:
1) When asked about what he would remember the most about his first year in the NFL, Parsons mentioned he'd remember he and the Cowboys were eliminated in the first round. Talk about hunger. This kid can't wait to take it out on the playing field, can he?
2) The Cowboys' rookie is having big-time fun in the Pro Bowl. He dominated in the 40-yard dash to determine the "fastest man in the NFL." He beat out Tyreek Hill, Nick Chubb, and Trevon Diggs.*
Note: Shoutout to Micah Parsons for admitting Tyreek Hill wasn't going at full speed. Saved us from weeks of useless, irrelevant controversy in social media.
Well, I can't believe I'm about to say this but I'm legitimately eager to watch the Pro Bowl. It's usually a boring experience (even though I ALWAYS end up watching it again and again), but I don't know… I think Parsons is saying the truth here.
And if we can get all-out, full-speed Micah Parsons wearing the Dallas Cowboys helmet one more time before a long offseason, I'm here for it.
Having said all of that, Sean Taylor's hit will always be the greatest Pro Bowl moment of all time. I don't know about Parsons going at that level. But I sure want to see him try.
