Cowboys superstar pass rusher Micah Parsons works the stunt to sack Jets QB Zach Wilson in Week 2.

It's no secret Micah Parsons terrorizes quarterbacks every week as the leader of the Dallas Cowboys' defense.

He wasted no time to show why on Sunday's game versus the New York Jets by getting a big sack on the first defensive drive of the game. He got to Zach Wilson on third down, when the Jets were forced to drop back to pass.

But, as the game is being played, I thought a closer look at the play was in order because I believe it's a great example of one of the biggest secrets behind Parsons' domination as a member of the Cowboys defense.

Without taking any credit away from Parsons (which would be unjustifiably stupid): Dan Quinn knows exactly how to use his best trait. I'm talking about his speed.

In the play, Parsons is lined up on the edge while interior defensive linemen Chauncey Golston and Osa Odihizuwa are on the inside ready to attack the left guard and center respectively. The play is a designed stunt that has Parsons moving inside two full gaps once the ball is snapped. Any NFL player has a tough time doing that, let alone at the speed at which Parsons does it.

The below angle from the TV broadcast shows it very well:

Parsons takes three steps to the outside of the left tackle before crossing inside and getting to Wilson. He makes it seem like he's lined up over the A-gap pre-snap. It's otherworldly talent that we're talking about here.

Quinn has shown very creative pressure designs since he arrived in Dallas and Parsons allows him to pull off many of them.
