The Dallas Cowboys are bringing back a ton of talent on the defensive side of the ball. None bigger than All-Pro phenom Micah Parsons, who has quickly established himself as one of the premier talents in all of the NFL.

Parsons has made it look easy at getting after the quarterback since breaking out Cowboys star Micah Parsons sends strong message his rookie campaign in 2021. Defensive coordinator Dan Quinn is able to utilize his abilities all over the defensive front, which really unlocks his game.

But Parsons does not shy away from wanting to win. He believes that the Cowboys have what it takes to go far in the playoffs and get over the postseason hump. In fact, his latest comments are bound to excite Cowboys fans.

The All-Pro talent explained that there is a lot of confidence in the Cowboys' locker room. Particularly on the defensive side of the ball. Which makes a lot of sense given that Dallas added Stephon Gilmore and Mazi Smith this offseason.

"You just feel it in the room," Parsons told Jon Machota of The Athletic. "Everybody is like, ‘This gotta be the year.’ Each year I’ve been here, we’ve gone a little bit further. Now, I’m hoping we ain’t gotta make no small jump to the NFC (title game) and then go home. I’m hoping we go all the way."

Parsons is a highly competitive player that is determined to help the Cowboys win big. He mentioned that the communication and relationships on the roster will pay off when it matters the most.

"We all know how each other plays. We know how to communicate with each other," said Parsons. "Just like anything in a relationship, whether you’re starting from ground zero, you got to learn how to build the base of how each other works. That history is going to be great."

And if that isn't enough confidence, Parsons is eyeing the defense becoming as a good of a unit as the Ray Lewis and Ed Reed-led Baltimore Ravens. It's clear that he wants his side of the ball to be the reason that Dallas is winning games.

"And I think that was the difference with that Ray Lewis (Ravens team in 2000). They all came back and we’re like, ‘If (the opponent) can’t score, they can’t win.' I’m hoping that we have one of those special teams this year," Parsons said.

Not only is Micah Parsons not lacking any talent on the field, but he is also not lacking any amount of confidence. Which is exactly what the Dallas Cowboys need. Big things could certainly be on the horizon.
